Updated KWO Rules for 2024

The Kenora Walleye Open has adjusted it’s 2024 event format to align with the new Lake of the Woods Walleye regulations that came into effect on January 1st, 2024.

The following changes have been made to the rules page:

3e) Only one CPR fish per day, 70 cm and over may be submitted (no upgrades)

3h) Daily limit per team shall be four (4) fish, one 70 cm and over CRR and three (3) slot fish 43 cm and under OR four (4) slot fish 43 cm and under.  At no time shall there be more than four (4) fish in the livewell.  A team shall not have more than three (3) slots 43 cm and under if they submit one 70 cm and over CRR fish.

6f) If a contestant submits a fish that is judged to be within 43 cm to 70 cm, that fish will be disqualified for that day’s weigh
